The project incorporates solar photovoltaic renewable generation (700-kW), battery energy storage (2,700-kWh), energy efficiency improvements, and a centralized microgrid controller to allow key elements of the terminal to remain operational when islanded from the electrical grid.
Lithium-ion batteries, particularly Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4), are dominating this sector due to their exceptional energy density, extended lifespan, and improved safety profiles compared to Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) technology.
We fabricate solar tracking system frames, inverter mounting rails, and ground-mount racking systems. Typical materials are galvanized steel or aluminum extrusions.
